Τα πρώτα στην ιστορία Electronic Music Awards ανακοίνωσαν τους πρώτους τους υποψηφίους. Calvin Harris, Disclosure, Galantis, Skrillex είναι μεταξύ των υποψήφιων για τα βραβεία που θα πραγματοποιηθούν στις 14 Απριλίου στο – φυσικά – Λας Βέγκας. Ενώ το show θα μεταδώσει λίγες μέρες μετά στις 26 του μήνα το Fox.

Μεταξύ των τυπικών κατηγοριών όπως single της χρονιάς, άλμπουμ της χρονιάς και καλύτερου νέου καλλιτέχνη, υπάρχουν και βραβεία για το καλύτερο club της χρονιάς και φεστιβάλ της χρονιάς.
